Many Napa Valley winemakers have a French oak barrel of perfection or two separated in a corner of their cellar for their private use.  These ecological children are made from the heart and soul;  no expense is spared; no amount of attention is lacking in these winemaking works of art which are impractical to replicate in larger scale productions, even in the Napa Valley.

A select few of these rare wine gems are available here to our followers who support our creative incubator for the next generation of rising-star Napa Valley winemakers.

Expedition provides the backing and support needed for Napa Valley winemakers to create, in freedom, their unadulterated artistic expressions in red wine.

These wines are beyond limited production: they exists in minute precious quantities of one to a few barrels per harvest, and are allocated to our constituents at six bottles per quarter, per constituent.  Remaining allocations, if any, are exclusively offered through this website portal.  Please see below for our current release and availability

Sourced from the most coveted micro climates and vineyards in the Napa Valley, some of these rare wines making their maiden voyage at Expedition  will result in cult followings, with accompanying cult pricing. That's  inevitable.

Expedition marries the ambition of some of Napa Valley’s brightest up and coming ecological talent (who desire the backing and the forum to make what they want), to a limited, wine loving following with an exploration spirit.

Expedition constituents participate in the development of  some of the most exquisite wines on the planet.  They support a brilliant band of emerging Napa Valley winemakers in their quest to produce the wines of their dreams, crafted in artistic freedom, and devoid of the commercial constrictions of larger scale wineries.

Constituent cost and  fees are limited to the price of quarterly wine allocations ~ currently set at $48 per bottle with six-750 ml. bottle quarterly allotments, plus shipping, four times a year at the seasonal equinoxes.  One  new and different  gem every equinox.
